Find what you need to know

Make the most of Studyit

There are different ways of getting information on Studyit to help you with NCEA maths, science and English achievement standards:

  • Use the drop down menus under the banner Find what you need to know for information about a specific achievement standard.

For instance, to find out about Calculus 3.3 Trigonometry go to 'Find what you need to know' towards the top of any page on Studyit. Under 'Choose a subject' select Mathematics. In the middle box, 'Choose a level' will appear. Select 'Level 3 - calculus'. Then 'Choose an achievement standard' will appear. Select '3.2 Integration'.

You will find detailed revision notes, key tips, practice questions, and links to relevant sites for all NCEA English, maths and sciences achievement standards.

  • You can get to the same information by going to the lists under Subjects.
  • For general support, go to Study and exam for advice and some general revision sites, and Encouragement for ideas on keeping on track, and tertiary and careers sites.
  • If you still can't find what you want, go to Communicate to read forum postings, post questions or replies to questions, and send an email to one of the Studyit expert teachers.
