Keep in mind the scientific investigation process. Your teacher will direct you by giving general instructions, a purpose, an outline of the method and the equipment and/or organisms from which to choose. A planning template will be provided.
- Plan the investigation:
- identify the aim that has been given to you and use it to write a hypothesis
- identify the key variables
- select a data collection method that best suits your investigation.

- Gather the data:
- collect the data making accurate measurements

- process data – make appropriate calculations, tables and graphs to establish a trend or pattern.
- Interpret the data:

- relate findings to the purpose to reach a conclusions
- evaluate the investigation.
- Present your findings:
