Assessment
- This achievement standard is internally assessed.
- It involves the development of an investigation and collection of primary data. This data will be processed, interpreted and reported. It also involves research to find relevant information on either the findings of others, scientific principles, theories, or models so that these can be discussed in the report.
- Class and homework time allowed to complete the investigation will be set by the teacher. The task instructions will provide information on time and other conditions relating to the assessment.
- You may be asked to keep a record of all work carried out during the investigation. This may be in the form of a logbook or through milestone reports.
