Achievement with merit
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the chemistry in a technological application.
This involves explaining how or why the chemistry applies to the use of the chosen application.
Make sure you can:
- Meet the requirements for Achievement.
Explain how or why the chemistry applies to the chosen application.
Achievement with excellence
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the chemistry in a technological application.
This involves linking the chemistry applicable to the chosen application with it’s use. It may involve elaborating, justifying, relating, evaluating, comparing and contrasting, or analysing.
Make sure you can:
- Meet the requirements for Merit.
- Write a detailed account of all the chemistry involved in the application that links clearly to the use.
