Chemistry 1.2 Demonstrate understanding of the chemistry in a technological application
Assessment
Activities assessing this achievement standard involve two parts:
- You will be provided with some information regarding a technological application that you will need to process and present in a format specified by your teacher such as a template, workbook or logbook. This may take 2-4 hours.
- You then need to present your processed information. Methods of presentation could include a poster, PowerPoint, wiki, blog or a written report. This should take 2-3 hours.
At the end of the assessment you will hand in your final product as well as all processed and researched information.
The activity will be carried out individually and mainly in class time.
