1.4 Produce creative writing
This achievement standard requires drafting, re-working, and presenting of at least one piece of creative writing that develops and organises imaginative and creative ideas and language features, and uses acceptable spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
The task(s) for your class will be chosen by your teacher from a range of options such as: descriptions, narratives, personal accounts; or writing scripts, poems, or other appropriate creative writing text types. You may be asked to keep your work as part of a portfolio allowing you to work on a piece of writing over a period of time.
