Rehearsing your oral presentation
- The amount of preparation you put into your presentaton will influence how you feel on the day. If you have put the effort in and rehearsed your speech it will be over before you know it.
- Plan where and when you will use language and delivery techniques to help communicate your message. This can be done by annotating your presentation as in the speech of welcome examples for language techniques and speech of welcome delivery techniques. When writing notes for delivery state the technique used, and how and why you have used it.
- Time your presentation during rehearsal.
- Rehearse in front of another person or the mirror.
