1.8 Produce a media or dramatic presentation

This achievement standard requires constructing and producing a media presentation (for example poster, short film, audio tape, layout of a newspaper front page) or rehearsing and performing drama (for example, role play, performance poetry, a scene from a play), choosing and using appropriate language and visual or dramatic techniques to enhance the presentation or performance.

You may present one of the following in class:

  • static image such as a poster, advertisement, newspaper front page, or storyboard
  • moving image such as a video or PowerPoint
  • website or web pages or other multimedia
  • dramatic presentation such as a role play, performance of a poem, or scene from a play
  • radio show.
