1.8 Making Connections
Presenting your work
Your teacher will guide you as to how you are to present your ideas about your connection(s). You may write a report, or give an oral or visual presentation. The way you present your work should be carefully chosen to ensure that enough evidence can be given to meet the standard. All presentations need to be well planned and have independent ideas.
Try to:
- Identify the connection(s) which is significant across your texts.
- Explain how the connection(s) is significant across your texts by showing your ideas about the connection(s).
- Give evidence from each text which shows the connection(s) across your texts.
For help with an oral presentation see achievement standard 1.6 oral presentation.
For help with a visual presentation see the basics of poster design.
For help with writing an essay see the 'Writing process' page on achievement standard 1.5 formal writing.
