2.3 Analyse extended written text(s)
This achievement standard involves previous reading and study of at least one extended written text (for example novel, drama script, non-fiction), and writing an analysis that shows understanding of ideas and techniques in the text(s).
You will choose one type of extended written text to study such as novel, non-fiction, extended hyperfiction, or drama script. Text(s) analysed at this level should be of sufficient depth and complexity to enable development of a full and detailed analysis.
