3.4 Respond critically to oral or visual text studied
Radio or audio
Radio and audio rely on clearly and effectively communicating a message by combining language and sound techniques. Visual references such as description of setting and character will be mentioned in the script and communicated through narration, dialogue, or production techniques such as music, sound effects, and props.
In addition to all the major aspects of literature, examination questions may ask you to focus on the characteristics of the radio/audio genre, how radio/audio production techniques such as sound effects, music, point of view, or structure have been used to present ideas convincingly in the text, or your understanding of the roles of the creator and the listener.
