3.6 Construct and deliver an oral presentation
This achievement standard requires construction and delivery of an oral presentation using a range of appropriate presentation techniques.
Your presentation will focus on speaking and use oral and visual language and other appropriate delivery techniques to enhance the presentation.
Your performance must be mainly in English and demonstrate command of spoken English. However, other languages may also be included as appropriate (for example as an introduction or greeting).
In a group presentation, each student's role must be significant enough to provide adequate evidence of an individual performance or contribution to meet the standard. Only the presentation will be directly assessed. If appropriate you may use your findings from 3.7 Research as the basis for your presentation.
