This article from the Exploratorium's online magazine contains a story about one scientist's research into pathogenic microbes and their human hosts. It is written with students in mind, relating the interactions within cells to battle scenes. It contains QuickTime videos showing microbes in action. Suitable for secondary levels, especially NCEA level 1.
