You will be tested on linear (or straight line) and quadratic (or parabola) graphs.
Know how to:
- form equations
- use equations to interpret graphs in the context of a real-life situation
- interpret features, such as:
- x and y intercepts
- maxima and minima (i.e. the turning points of a parabola)
- axes of symmetry
- gradients of straight lines (rates of change).
- Straight line graphs
- Graphing parabolas
- Linear equations written in any form
- Quadratic equations, with a coefficient of x2 other than ±1
