Physics 2.6 Demonstrate understanding of the integrated nature of physics
Key tips
- Be aware of the appropriate use of units. You may use both negative index (for example, ms–2) and slash notation (for example, m/s2) when writing units. However, the examination paper will supply data using negative index notation.
- Know circuit symbols when drawing circuit diagrams.
- Make sure you know the right-hand rules or other ways of working out induced voltage and force directions.
- Understand ‘conventional current’ direction and be able to apply it to electrical circuits.
- Realise that ‘E’ is used as a symbol for both energy and electric field strength in the given formulae.
