This achievement standard involves processing secondary information to describe a use of science knowledge, with direction.
Note: If you have entered for assessment against Science 1.2 (AS90187), as well as any of the following:
- Biology 1.2 (AS90162)
- Chemistry 1.2 (AS90170)
- Physics 1.2 (AS90181)
then your investigations must be in a different subject area.
For example, if you are being assessed against Biology 1.2 (AS90162), and you are also being assessed against Science 1.2 (AS90187), then the major emphasis of your investigation for Science 1.2 (AS90187) cannot be based on biology.
