Science 2.9 Use physics concepts and principles to describe the behaviour of light
Key tips
- Know these key words: describe, explain, and discuss, and answer the questions of the examination with them in mind.
- Keep your notes up-to-date.
- Show all working of your calculations including any rearrangement of formulae.
- Understand scientific notation.
- Be aware of the appropriate use of units. You may use both negative index (for example m s–2) and slash notation (for example m/s2) when writing units. However, the examination paper will supply data using negative index notation.
- Don't forget to do sensible rounding in solving problems.
